Week 3 

#1 Video and Blog The power of the Holy Spirit.

We have three verses this week that talk about the Holy Spirit and the work He does within us.  I was recently asked to speak at a women’s conference. I had never done anything like that before and did not feel this was within my ability. So I prayed to ask God if it was His will that I do this. When He said yes, I said ok but I am really going to need Your help with this. And He did in a mighty way. Being a do-it-yourself kind of girl, I try to do everything on my own first. I am finally getting to the point where I check with God, wait for an answer and then ask His help to accomplish the task. As you can imagine things go smoother.  There are times when I get a nudge or feeling that I am to do something, so I do. I find that I am inevitably blessed because something amazing happens. Other times I can picture the Holy Spirit shaking or smacking His head and saying “Doh!” like Homer Simpson. Yeah probably more often that last one.
