Week 5 #2 Proverbs 16:3 Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
Never Lost feat. Tauren Wells | Live | Elevation Worship
If you have been following so far, I feel as though I have to add this little caveat and it is found in verse 2
All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. 3 Commit to the Lord whatever
you do, and he will establish your plans.
Psalm 37:5 Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. NLT
As you begin to move closer to God and become more aware of those little nudges or upside the head
moments, you become aware of what God wants you to do. Shifting your thinking to “doing small things
with great love” a saying attributed to Mother Teresa, can change how you perceive what you do every day.
Taking care of children - a large investment in the future. Cleaning - a large investment in our environment.
Managing people - a large investment in growing humans. Every day we have opportunities to shine a light
in our communities. I am often so caught up in what I have to do next I do not live in the moment which means
I do not see the need right in front of my face. We cannot be perfect but we can start again each day saying God,
show me the need you would have me take care of today.
Response question: What work do you commit to the Lord?
Denise
